The trolley on Anna Maria Island is the best way to travel and still sightsee on the Island.  The free trolley travels from the north end of the Island at the historic Anna Maria city pier to the Coquina Beach which is the south end of the Island.  It serves Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach, It picks up about every 20 minutes, courtesy of its 5 trolley’s in service and runs between 6 A.M. and 10 P.M.  It is sponsored by local businesses and the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce.  It makes stops every few blocks on the Island and provides a link between the different shops and restaurants on the north end of the island to the south end.  It is perfect for meeting new and different people from all over the world.  Take a ride on the trolley on a Sunday and you can make your own personal tour of homes, and check out all of the different real estate available on the Island.
