This weekend on Anna Maria Island we have many events to keep us busy.  Tonight our rental partners Anna Maria Vacations is hosting an open house open to the public from 5-7pm.  Friday from 5-10 is the first day for the Island CityFest in Holmes Beach.  Also Tonight is the last artwalk of the season which takes place in Downtown Holmes Beach in the shops where Gulf and Holmes Blvd. Intersect.  On Saturday we have the second day of CityFest, with live music, a car show, Arts and Crafts, and plenty of food and drink for the whole family.  The highlight of the festival will be performances by the Flying Wallendas, a local Sarasota high wire act.  On Saturday the festival goes from 10am to 10pm.  On Saturday night we have our annual black tie event held at the Anna Maria Island Community Center.  It is the only time you will see islanders in tuxes.  At the event there will be performances by Bertie Higgins to sweeten the deal.  So no matter what you would like to do this weekend, we have it all here on Anna Maria Island so come on out and join us!!!
